BACKAnthony is an Associate in the Corporate Department at Eptalex. His practice covers Corporate/M&A, investment funds, financial services regulation, capital markets, and aviation law across the UAE and the GCC. He advises on the full transaction cycle, including structuring, incorporation, legal due diligence, negotiation, signing, closing, and post-closing implementation for share and asset acquisitions, joint ventures, restructurings, and strategic investments.
He advises institutional and private investors, including sovereign wealth funds, asset managers, as well as fund managers, on fund formation, co-investments, Shari’ah-compliant structures, and regulatory compliance. He also adopts a business-focused approach for startups and investors, advising founders, venture-backed companies, and investment stakeholders on scalable legal structuring, funding rounds, shareholder arrangements, governance design, and risk-calibrated execution aligned with growth and exit objectives.
Anthony regularly supports clients on ADGM and DIFC frameworks and broader GCC regulatory requirements, including passporting and cross-border offering considerations. His capital markets work includes corporate structuring, governance and transaction documentation requiring alignment with applicable regulatory standards.
He also advises on aviation transactions and operations in the UAE and the GCC, including aircraft and aviation-asset transactions, leasing and finance arrangements, operating and services agreements, and regulatory compliance. His aviation work focuses on contractual risk allocation, liability frameworks, insurance provisions, and enforcement-oriented protection mechanisms.
Before joining Eptalex, Anthony trained at a leading French law firm, where he worked on international due diligence and M&A mandates for major European companies in the dairy, aquaculture feed, and energy-efficiency sectors. He was admitted to the Beirut Bar Association in 2023.
